The most basic formula to make sure you're vaping safely for your battery is Voltage(4.2 on most freshly charged batteries) divided by Resistance(ohms) = Amps. Do some reading on ohms law, it's a bit confusing but get the basic formulas down to memory at least, that way you know how many watts you're getting with you're current build. If you wanna vape lower than that make SURE you get authentic Sony VTC4's as they are the only Battery still available rated at 30A. With a 20A battery you can safely vape at around. Make sure the batteries you are using are authentic and at least 20A. When you build low, you need a lot of wick to keep your coils wet or you will start getting dry hits pretty fast and your cotton will get scorched and taste nasty. My preferred is 24 gauge macro coils, about a 3 or 3.4 mm screwdriver to wrap around. 28 gauge is usually a hot vape on low ohm builds because it has more resistance.
